Allow users to sign up for an event with a limited number of attendees with the Signup Tool.
Add the Signup Tool to a Page
- Click Add Content.
- Select the Main tab in the Tool Menu.
- Locate the Signup Tool under Forms.
- Click and drag the tool to the Main Panel of the page.
- The Signup Sheet Properties screen will appear.
- Type a Signup Sheet Title.
- Type Sheet Owner's Email.
- Select Require Log in for Signup option: Yes (Members-only signup or No (Open signup).
- Notify Sheet Owner when someone signs up or removes themselves? Select Yes or No.
- Select Automated Email Reminder for Signees option: 1 Day Before, 2 Days Before, or 3 Days Before.
- Click Save (or Cancel to discard your changes).
- Type a heading in the Add Header field.
- The tool defaults to Active status. (Click to select Inactive if you want to publish the content at a later date.)
- If Active, the tool will be accessible.
- If Inactive, the tool will not be accessible or visible on the page.
- Click Add Date.
- Select a Date.
- Select a Status: Active or Inactive.
- If you would like to add a grouping, click Add New Grouping and click Add (or Cancel to discard your changes).
- Click Save (or Cancel to discard your changes).
- Continue adding items until you have reached your desired number of items.
*Note: You can delete an item by clicking x on the right side of the item. - Click Done (or delete the entire tool by clicking Delete in the Signup toolbar).
To make any needed edits, simply click into the tool. Click Options to edit Signup Properties, Print Sheet, or Download Sheet.
*Note: Once added, you can move or copy your tool to another page by clicking Move/Copy in the Signup toolbar.
Schedule an Access Status Change
You can schedule a tool to become Active or Inactive on a specific date.
- Click into the tool.
- Click Schedule in the Signup toolbar.
- Select a Date for the status change.
- Select a New Access Status.
- If Active, the tool will be accessible.
- If Inactive, the tool will not be accessible or visible on the page.
- Type your email address(es) in the Notify Email Address(es) field if you want to be notified of the status change.
- Click Save (or Cancel to discard your changes).
