Planning Center and FACTS Integration

When it comes to Planning Center Online, FACTS is connected in four key areas to save you time and build ongoing engagement: Events, Registration, Profiles, and Giving.

Events

Your PCO calendar can be pulled directly from PCO using the calendar feed. All you need is your iCal feed. Learn more about how to find your iCal link in Planning Center here.

Once you have your iCal feed, simply plug it into your Events feature in FACTS. 

Registration

You can point to any registration form within your app. If you’re using PCO forms and want to plug those into your app, you'll want to use a Link or Links feature! Read this article to learn more about those features.

Profiles

As people complete their profile info in-app, their profiles will automatically write over to PCO (including their profile pic). You can find instructions for setting up integration with PCO People below.

Profile Match Process

When a user gives through any channel, the following logic will determine which PCO user profile is matched:

• If the given email address does not exist in CCB, no profile is matched
• If the given email address does exist in CCB, then
• If only one user has said email address, the profile is matched
• If more than one user has said email address, then
• If one user's first name matches, the profile is matched
• If more than one user's first name matches, no profile is matched

Giving

When a church member gives (with FACTS's processor Nelnet Payment Services), the gift will write to both People and Giving. You can find instructions for setting up integration with PCO Giving below.

Set Up Integration for Profiles and Giving  

To make the connection with your PCO Profiles and/or Giving, reach out to communitysupport@factsmgt.com and let the team know that you're running Planning Center and would like to set up integration. 

Set up PCO People and PCO Giving? 

*Note: Since we write back donations with our processor, Nelnet Payment Services, not your Planning Center give page, you'll need to complete the Nelnet Payment Services merchant account application and use Nelnet Payment Services (FACTS Giving) for your app giving. If you are already using FACTS giving, you can move forward with the below steps!

Add the following user as an Administrator for your Planning Center People and Giving, which will allow the FACTS support team to set up the PCO People and Giving integration with your app:

• First name: FACTS
• Last name: System
• Email address: communitysupport@factsmgt.com

Set up PCO People and not PCO Giving?

Add the following user as an Administrator for your Planning Center People, which will allow us to set up the PCO People integration with your app:

• First name: FACTS
• Last name: System
• Email address: communitysupport@factsmgt.com 
• •  

Your church’s Planning Center Organization Administrator who subscribed to PCO should add FACTS as an Administrator in Planning Center People/Giving. Other Organization Administrators will not be able to do this.

First, log in to your Planning Center account. Navigate to the Giving section, select People, then select Administrators. Click the green Add Administrator button.

Type "FACTS System" in the search bar, then click Create a new person: FACTS System.
