Add images via upload, or upload from an image-sharing source, such as Flickr.
If you select Upload Images as your Image Source, you will be able to save images to File Uploads and then add them to an Image Album. If you select Flickr or another image-sharing source as your Image Source, the image will be pulled in directly, and you will need to set your Image Album properties. If an image is added or deleted on your image-sharing source, it is automatically added or deleted from your Image Album tool.
To connect your Flickr, account to the Image Albums Tool, select Flickr as your Image Source and type your ID in the Flickr ID field. Your account must be public and/or have public images. Otherwise, the images will not show and you may receive an error.
Locating Flickr ID
To connect your Flickr account to the Image Album Tool, you will need to locate the ID for the account. Please note: this is not the same as your username. Only public accounts and/or images will work with the image gallery connection.
Flickr: If you have not set up a custom photostream address for your Flickr account, your Flickr ID will be part of your photostream URL, for example: flickr.com/photos/FlickrID/.
However, most users have set up their photostream URL to include their username, so it is flickr.com/photos/username/. If your photostream URL contains your username, log into your Flickr account and then navigate to this Flickr API Explorer page. Ignoring the input fields, look to the right. On the right side, you should see your FlickrID listed.
Album Description
The optional Description field allows you to provide information about the album. The description will display below the tool name and above your album.
