Interactive Video – Aware3

Have the flexibility of either live-streaming or showing a pre-recorded video to your congregation, while also allowing them access to other important features in your app. The new Interactive Video feature provides one convenient location to combine your video content with other features like forms, polls, info pages, notes, and giving,

This feature functions somewhat similarly to Feature Hubs, with the addition of the video component.

Add an Interactive Video Feature

Go to App > Features + Content to add the Watch, Single Interactive Video feature to your app. Learn how to add, edit, and delete your app's features in this article.

*Note: Interactive Video requires a minimum app version of 36.1.0. This feature will be included in your next scheduled app update. Please reach out to communitysupport@factsmgt.com if you would like more information on an out-of-cycle update.

Add/Edit Content for your Video Feature

You can add or update content for your Video feature, including the URL for the video that will play at the top and additional feature content that will display at the bottom.

To customize this content, hover over the feature on the App screen and click on the Edit Content button.

That will open the edit screen.

Add a Video Link

Paste or input a complete YouTube or Vimeo link in the Video URL field. Then click the Save URL button. You can edit the URL here as well.

*Note: we currently support live streaming via YouTube video URLs. Video playback (pre-recorded video) works for either YouTube or Vimeo links.

Select Additional Features

To add additional features within the interactive video feature click the Add Feature button.

A list of your available features will appear. Scroll through the list until you find the feature you would like to add and select it. Click on Add Feature and then click the Close button.

*Note: you will need to choose Link in the Feature Type list if you wish to include a Form or a Poll in your group of features. This will open the Link editor and provide a place for you to paste the corresponding URL for access to the individual form or poll.

Your feature will show up in the Interactive Features table of your edit screen, with Feature Type appearing as a descriptor above the title you choose.

Edit Feature Settings

To adjust a feature's title click the gear icon in the Settings column next to that feature.

Edit the name in the box below Feature Title, then click Update Feature.

This is also where you can remove the feature from the list, by clicking the red delete button and then clicking Confirm Deletion. The window will close automatically.

Edit Feature Content

If you want to edit content for one of the features you’ve selected, click the book icon in the Edit Content column next to that feature. This will navigate you to that feature to edit as usual.
