Use a giving passcode to securely save all of your payment information for future donations. This means the next time you walk through the donation process, all you will need is your personal giving passcode. This makes future donations easier and faster after a one-time set-up!
Start the Donation Process
To create a giving passcode, you first need to walk through the donation process. For more on the donation process, read this article.
Create a Passcode
Once you have processed your donation, a passcode box will prompt you to create your passcode. The digits in the passcode cannot be consecutive (e.g., 1234). Once you have configured your passcode, select the green bar button. You will then receive an email asking you to verify your newly created passcode. You will need to click on the link within the email and or text message to verify your new giving passcode. The next time you donate, you will be prompted to use this passcode after you initiate your gift and enter your email and phone.
Resetting Your Passcode:
If you forget your giving passcode, there are just a few simple steps to reset it. To reset your giving passcode, you must walk through the donation process again. Go to your organization’s giving page, either in-app or on the web. Enter your donation amount, select the fund you would like to donate to, and select Next.
Enter your phone number and email address. Be sure that both are the same as the phone number and email you used when previously donating. You will then be prompted to enter your passcode. To reset your passcode, select the Reset button.
You will receive an email with a link to reset your passcode. Click on the link to create a new passcode. Once you have created a new passcode, you will receive a second email asking you to verify your new passcode. Once you have verified your new passcode, you will be all set!
